Diagnostic Procedures
At our practice, we use advanced diagnostic tools and procedures to accurately identify and evaluate gastrointestinal conditions. Our goal is to provide timely, precise diagnoses to guide the most effective treatment plans for each patient.
We offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic procedures, including:
Colonoscopy
A key tool in screening for colorectal cancer and identifying issues like polyps, inflammation, or bleeding in the colon and rectum.
Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
Allows visualization of the esophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine to diagnose conditions such as GERD, ulcers, or celiac disease, including esophageal dilation for difficulty swallowing.
Capsule Endoscopy
A minimally invasive way to examine the small intestine using a pill-sized camera swallowed by the patient.
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
Evaluates the lower part of the colon and rectum, often used in colorectal cancer screening or to investigate symptoms such as rectal bleeding.
Ultrasound with elastography
A non-invasive test that assesses liver stiffness and fat content, useful in evaluating liver diseases like fatty liver or fibrosis.
Esophageal pH Monitoring
Diagnostic tool used to measure acid levels in patients with chronic heartburn and non-cardiac chest pain.
We ensure that all procedures are performed with the highest standards of safety, comfort, and personalized care. Your provider will explain each test in detail and answer any questions you may have.
